SKETS Studio was entrusted with documenting a luxurious, eco-conscious mountain resort—an architectural vision seamlessly blending with nature. Its complexity in Revit demanded our top-tier team to realize the client’s ambitious vision to life.
Project Overview
Designed to preserve the environment, this resort invites guests to connect with nature and the local culture of Saudi Arabia. Hidden within a mountain valley, the property features 48 villas and 12 hotel rooms a total of 60 keys blending luxury with the untouched beauty of the region.
Project Scope
With no central structure and villas spread across rugged terrain, executing the design in Revit was complex. SKETS supported BIM Coordination and Design Documentation, delivering 750+ sheets and 110 millwork families at LOD 350 with detailed Revit documentation.
Challenges
Delivering the custom CAVE units within complex mountain terrain required precise Revit modeling—essentially carving the mountain to fit the design. Sloped ceilings and intricate interiors complicated component placement, while limited client familiarity with Revit created coordination challenges. High-end detailing and strict owner standards demanded exceptional accuracy throughout.
