Role Summary
Exp: 2-7yrs
Location: East Delhi (Patparganj Industrial Area).
Software Required: Revit, Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360
The BIM Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training programs that enhance the Building Information Modeling (BIM) capabilities of project teams. This role ensures employees gain proficiency in BIM standards, workflows, and software tools such as Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360 / ACC, and other digital engineering platforms. The trainer will work closely with BIM managers and project leaders to assess skill gaps and provide tailored training that supports organizational BIM maturity and project success.
Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery
- Conduct beginners to advanced-level training sessions on BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, Dynamo, etc.).
- Provide hands-on workshops, webinars, and on-the-job coaching for multidisciplinary teams.
- Train staff on company BIM standards, workflows, naming conventions, and project-specific requirements.
Training Development
- Design training materials including manuals, presentations, exercises, videos, and assessments.
- Develop structured BIM learning paths for engineers, architects, modelers, coordinators, and project managers.
- Update training content regularly based on software updates and industry best practices.
Technical Support & Implementation
- Support project teams in implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEP), model setup, and coordination workflows.
- Assist BIM models, templates, families, and libraries.
- Provide post-training support, troubleshooting, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure training aligns with organizational BIM standard and project-level requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement of digital processes and documentation.
- Work with BIM managers to identify skill gaps and create tailored training solutions.
- Support the onboarding of new employees with BIM-focused orientation.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Technical Skills
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architecture/Structure/MEP).
- Knowledge of Navisworks Manage (Clash detection, 4D/5D workflows).
- Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360.
Training & Soft Skills
- Proven experience delivering BIM training (corporate, academic, or consultancy).
- Strong communication, coaching, and presentation skills.
- Ability to simplify complex workflows into clear, actionable lessons.
- Good documentation and curriculum-building skills.
- Problem-solving and support-oriented mindset.
Experience & Education
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- 2–7 years of experience in BIM implementation or digital delivery roles.
- Prior experience as a BIM Trainer or BIM Coordinator preferred.
- Professional certifications (Autodesk Certified Professional, BIM etc.) are a plus.
